|Rolls are chrome-plated in altogether 7 vertical chrome tanks of different sizes.
All tanks are supplied with current by computer controlled rectifiers. The strength (Pulse) and direction (Reverse) of current can be be varied by these modern rectifiers. This equipment guarantees a higher density of the cristall structure and an accurat reproducibility.
Any demanded thickness of a layer will be precipitated with the best possible structure. By particular applications of the chrome-plating technique we do produce electrolytical mattings.
|The electrolyte will be supervised and adjusted permanently. Modern cooling facilities keep the temperature of the electrolyte exactly at the optimal level. Our facilities for environmental protection are exemplary.
Hydrogen which arises during chrome-plating and deposites within the chrome layer caused by the chrome-plating process itself will be removed by heating up the roll on demand. This procedure is called dehydrogenisation.
